Will Cody, a Pony Express rider, pursues a gang of outlaws which has kidnapped a young girl, Libbie Limbertoes. The girl is unaware that she is the sole heir to the vast estates of an English Lord, but the leader of the outlaws has discovered this and wants to force Libbie to marry him so that he can acquire her fortune. After much bloodshed, Cody rescues Libbie, and the delighted girl leaves for England to claim her rightful inheritance. The author of this dime novel was Ned Buntline, who wrote several books about the famous frontier scout and showman, Buffalo Bill Cody.
