Old King Brady and his young assistant, Harry Brady, are called upon to investigate when a bag of diamonds is stolen from the Duke of Westmoreland, who is visiting New York. The case is complicated when a gang of pirates kidnap the Duke. The identity of the thieve is a mystery and his arrest causes a financial crisis on Wall Street.
