“Don’t Meddle with Murder and Other Stories” consists of reprints of four pulp detective stories written by C.S. Montanye (1892—1948). The stories all involve murder mysteries, each of which is solved by a different detective or amateur sleuth—Big Dave McClain, Johnny Castle, Steve Dix and Len Royal. They were all published during the 1940s by the “Thrilling Detective” magazine, New York, and are highly entertaining and well worth reading.
