NICK CARTER is a fictional private detective who appeared in over 1,500 stories in pulp magazines and paperbacks over a period of more than a century—between 1886 and 1990. One of the many villains who appear in the Nick Carter stories is Dazaar, an evil Tibetan magician, who commands a network of satanic fanatics. Dazaar has amazing mystic powers and his body is, in fact, possessed by a centuries-old Tibetan Ascended Master. In addition, the Master has possessed six other persons. "Dazaar, The Arch Fiend, or The House of the Seven Devils" is the first in a series of nine stories featuring the seven fiends. The other stories will be reprinted shortly.
